When our Managing Director Ian Grayson founded WES Q, originally known as Wurtulla Electrical Systems, he did it with a singular vision: to create an organisation that had the skills and ability to deliver quality electrical contracting services throughout Queensland. An organisation with a reputation of safety, professionalism, and first-class employee treatment.

It’s this emphasis on reliability and professionalism that still drives our company forward today, more than two decades after its founding.

WES Q has been involved in a huge array of projects, from hospitals and banks to schools and community centres. Our licensed tradesmen have Electrical Work Licence, High Risk Work Licences, Work Safely at Heights Certificates, First Aid Qualifications (CPR & LVR), Telecommunications Certificates, Open Cabler Licences, among others.

We also employ a number of apprentices who are in the process of acquiring their licenses, as we believe in the importance of developing the next generation of skilled electrical workers who are passionate and committed to their work.
